FAQs
A collection of frequently asked questions about relational coaching, our approach, and how to get started. If you have additional questions, please contact us here.
We see coaching as a movement forward from a strong position. Counseling is what gets you to that strong position. Look at it this way...a personal trainer will find out what your goals are, whether it's to lose weight, gain muscle, tone...and develop a program designed for you to meet those goals. A physical therapist is a medically trained individual that will set out a routine to build a specific muscle or rehabilitate a set of muscles through a specific set of exercises. While they may both use similar exercises, the personal trainer doesn't necessarily have the certifications or medical training that the physical therapist does.
As relationship coaches, we may use some of the same exercises that a therapist would use, but we are not trying to heal a specific injury. We are trying to build overall strength of the whole relationship.
Although our standard rate is $150 an hour, we have a sliding scale for lower income families to help be affordable.
Not at this time.
Each session is different. One may be 15 minutes and the next could take an hour. Depending on what goals we are helping you reach, you may only have a couple of sessions or you could be a "lifetime" client.
Although we are Christian and our approach is Biblically based, we strive to meet and accept every client where they are at. We welcome all races, religions, ages (over 18)...the only thing we require is that you wish to grow in your relationship and are willing to do the work.
Blended Pathways' coaching sessions can be conducted in a secure meeting room environment. All you will need is a device that connects to the internet (tablet, laptop, phone, or computer all work) with a microphone and web camera. Each meeting attendee can be located anywhere in the world while you receive coaching from Fierce Intimacy. We will help you download the free telehealth application and connect with your practitioner.
Blended Pathways strongly encourages couples to go through the coaching process together (if both are willing). We have both female and male teams that work with couples and families so that everyone can be supported during the process.
We would encourage you to pursue individual coaching for yourself is your spouse or partner is not willing to participate at this time. We offer individual coaching, whether you are a struggling spouse or need parenting support. We can integrate your spouse/partner into the process at any time if they choose to participate.
